Bucharest and Zagreb celebrates Albania’s independence

Romania and Bucharest in particular occupy an important place in the history of the Albanian Diaspora. Some of the largest patriotic societies in the Diaspora have been established and developed there. Societies that have played a crucial role in the National Renaissance.

Bucharest is the next city to join the celebrations on the occasion of Flag Day and the 109th Anniversary of Albania’s Independence!

The same thing was done by the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. Where the fountain with the Albanian flag in the center of the city stands out, initially published by the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
Croatia and Albania have very close historical, social and political ties, and some scholars even believe that Albanians and Croats are of Illyrian descent, so they are essentially a population with the same characteristics, but divided into states by geopolitical and historical circumstances.
