Albania was well represented in this vote by the thinker Lea Ypi. The theorist was ranked among the top 10 thinkers globally.
Ypi was voted from a list of 50 leading thinkers, among them philosophers, activists, writers or professors.
Her book “Free: Coming of Age at the End of History” toured the world, appearing on the front pages of “The Guardian”, “The Times” or “Financial Times”.
Lea Ypi is a Professor of Political Philosophy at the London School of Economics (LSE) and Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Research School of Social Sciences at the Australian National University.
