Adnan Dibrani and Aida Birinxhiku, two Albanians in the Swedish parliament

The results of the parliamentary elections in Sweden held on September 11 of this year have already been announced.
Among the elected members of the Swedish parliament are two Albanians, Aida Birinxhiku and Adnan Dibrani.
Birinxhiku enters her first term in the Parliament of Sweden, while for Adnan Dibrani is his third term in this parliament.

The news was also confirmed by the President of AKR, Behgjet Pacolli, through a post on Facebook where he wrote that based on the counted votes, Adnan Dibrani and Aida Birinxhiku were elected MPs.
“With all the votes counted, we can now congratulate Adnan and Aida on their parliamentary seats in the Swedish Parliament. A great achievement to be proud of.
Also a lesson for us in Kosovo to support more young people to fulfill their dreams and ambitions. Congratulations!!”, Pacolli wrote.
There were a total of 4 Albanian candidates, including Arber Gashi and Aurora Pirraku Eriksson, for whom we have no news so far.
In fact must be said that it is not only Sweden where Albanians are active in politics, almost in every European country there there are Albanians engaged in politics, whether at the local or central level.
